William W. Whitney, parentage unknown, was born say 1865, San Bernardino, CA, and died sometime before 1910, perhaps Yolo Co., CA.
He married Sarah C. Hipshire or Hipsher. She was born 1869, Red Bluff, Tehama Co., CA, and died after 1910.
He was perhaps the William W. Whitney listed in 1890 in Los Angeles, CA with the business "Billings & Whitney", 58 North Daly, E. L. A.[1]
Children of William W. and Sarah C. (Hipshire) Whitney:
i. Margaret Caroline Whitney, b. 10 Jul 1893, Susanville, Lassen Co., CA, d. 23 Jun 1943. She m. Manuel George. ii. James William Whitney, b. 21 Sep 1894, CA, d. 25 Aug 1958.
