Jacob⁷ Whitney (Richard⁶, Richard⁵, Israel⁴, Ebenezer³, Richard², John¹), son of Richard⁶ and Sarah "Sally" (Holt) Whitney, was born 16 Feb 1797, Andover, VT, and died 24 Mar 1833, Weston, VT.

He married 11 Jan 1821, Weston, VT, Polly Watts, daughter of . She was born 13 Feb 1803, Weston, VT, and died 26 May 1884, Weston, VT.

After Jacob's death, Polly married Daniel Foster.
