He married, 13 Feb 1816, Hannah McNaughton, daughter of Findlay and Sarah (Cleveland) McNaughton. She was born about 1797, VT.

He was a goldsmith, politician, and judge, in Uniontown, Columbus, and Akron, OH.

Children of William Henry7 and Hannah (McNaughton) Whitney:

ii. Helen Maria Whitney Whitney, b. 1822, Akron, OH; m. Daniel Tilton Hickox.
