Amos⁷ Whitney (Jonathan⁶, (prob.) Jonathan⁵, Samuel⁴, John³, Benjamin², John¹), son of Jonathan⁶, Jr., and Deborah (Higgins) Whitney, was born 28 Feb 1794, Lisbon, ME, and died 12 Oct 1862.

He married, Hannah (or Anna or Annah or Anar) [?Doane?]. She was born about 1801, ME, and died after 1870, and apparently before 1880.

He resided in Kirkland and Hudson, ME.

30 September 1815, bought land in Newport, ME

20 August 1821, bought land in Corinth, ME

Amos is buried in the Evergreen Cemetery, Corinth, ME
