David White⁷ Whitney (Abiezer Holbrook⁶, Nathan⁵, Benjamin⁴, John³, Benjamin², John¹), son of Abiezer Holbrook⁶ and Elizabeth (White) Whitney, was born 12 Aug 1817, Litchfield, ME,^[1] and died 3 Oct 1896, Bowdoin, ME.^[2]

He married firstly, 16 Dec 1841, Augusta, ME, Philena L. Church.^[3] She was born 1810, and died 12 Feb 1854, Augusta, ME, aged 44 years.^[4]

He married secondly, 24 Dec 1857, Augusta, ME, Olena E. Church.^[5] She was born 7 Oct 1827.

He is a farmer and is engaged in the granite business; resided Augusta, ME.
