Joseph5 Whitney (Enoch4, Ebenezer3, Richard2, John1), son of Enoch4 and Thankful (Parke) Whitney, was born 18 Jun 1753, Kent, CT,[1] and died after 1837.

He married, 2 Sep 1773, Washington, CT, Sarah Weeks. She was born before 1755, and died after 1800.

He lived in 1837 at Warren, CT.

Children of Joseph5 and Sarah (Weeks) Whitney, possibly incomplete:

i. (daughter)6 Whitney, b. 1773-1774.
ii. (son) Whitney, b. 1785-1790. This was probably the Joseph Whitney, Jr., who married, 28 Mar 1822, Warren, CT, Esther Kidney, both of Warren.[2]
