Isaac6 Whitney (Samuel5, Samuel4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Samuel5 and Martha (Howes) Whitney; born 1773; married at Watertown, Connecticut, 15 Jan 1798, Susannah Bryan; died 16 Mar 1861.
They settled in Watertown, Connecticut, and in 1805 he purchased land of Jonathan Scott. He resided there until his death of the lake fever. After his death she disposed of the property, and in 1816 moved to Westerlo, New York, where she resided until 1828, after which she resided with her daughter Sally, and died at her home in Clarkson, New York. He died 14 Jan 1807; resided Claverack, New York, and Watertown, Connecticut.

i. Sallie7 Whitney, born 29 Dec 1798; married 20 Apr 1820, Adam Snyder; born June 15, 1798; resided Clarkson, New York. She died there 31 Oct 1880. He died 1 Dec 1879; was a farmer. Adam and Sallie Snyder died and were buried in Clarkson, Monroe County, New York - Ch.: Isaac Whitney, born 26 Jun 1827; died 26 Jun 1827, in Westerlo, Albany County, New York; Henry Nettleton, born 24 May 1831, in Clarkson, Monroe County, New York; married in Unadilla, Michigan, 18 Oct 1876 to Carrie Eugenia Lyman; present address, Bureau of Pensions, Middle Dept., Washington, District of Columbia.
ii. Susanna Whitney, born 5 Dec 1800; died Mar., 1821, at Westerlo, New York. iii. Isaac John Whitney, born 20 Dec 1803; married Martha Ann Rowell.
