Nathan8 Whitney (David7, Silas6, David5, Benjamin4, Thomas3, Thomas2, John1), son of David7 and Sarah (Wilson) Whitney; born Clarendon, Vermont, in 1793; married there Abigail Whitney; died 18 Sep 1849.
He was born in Clarendon, Vermont, but moved to Canada with his parents when quite young. He was a farmer and resided in Saint Armand, Canada, until his return to the states, when he settled in Franklin, Vermont. He was a Christian gentleman and a friend to every one. He died 7 Apr 1848; resided Saint Armand, Canada, and Franklin, Vermont.

Olive Whitney, born 15 Dec 1819; married at Franklin, Vermont, 17 Oct 1840, William Heyer, born Dunham, P. Q., 29 Jun 1820; died June 25,1889; was a farmer. She died 1854, Ch.; Julia Elmina, born 1 Feb 1844; married H. H. Eldred, 28 Nov 1861; resided East Enosburgh, Vermont; Sarah Allen, born 7 Jun 1849; married Dr. O. W. Roberts, 20 Aug 1867; resided 24 Thompson St., Springfield, Massachusetts. iii. Abigail Whitney, born -----; married Rev. John B. Searles; resided Kent, New York, has one son and two daus., all married iv. Oliver C. Whitney, born 26 Apr 1826; married Harriett R. Williams and Josephine A. Parnell. v.
