Lewis7 Whitney (Simon6, Timothy5, Jonas4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), son of Simon6 and Lucy (Hammond) Whitney, was born 12 Jun 1803, Petersham, MA,[1] and died 14 Feb 1873.

He married 17 Oct 1848, Essex, VT, Permelia Vogal Day, "of Essex, Vt."[2] She was born about 1821, VT, and died Rockford, IL.

They resided Petersham, MA.

i. Lewis Herbert8 Whitney, b. 23 Oct 1849, Petersham, MA;[3] d. 1 Aug 1853.
