Larkin Wilcox⁸ Whitney (George Huyler⁷, Ira⁶, Hezekiah⁵, Hezekiah⁴, Joseph³, John², Henry¹), son of George Huyler⁷ and Ursula (Hawkins) Whitney, was born 20 Jan 1854, Fairfield, VT, died 1925 aged 71 years, and was buried 10 Jul 1925, Oak Grove Cemetery, Grand Rapids, MI.^[1]

He married, Kent Co., MI, Alice Janette Bruce, daughter of Francis and Rella (Patterson) Bruce. She was born 16 Oct 1856, Kent Co., MI, died 1 Nov 1943, Grand Rapids, MI, and was buried in Oak Grove Cemetery, Grand Rapids, MI.^[2]

He moved with his parents, in 1864, to Jamestown, MI; and was living there with his mother, in Aug 1874.
