James Whitney, was born 1794, Preston-on-Wye, England, and died 1873, Liverpool, N. S. W., Australia.
He married Elizabeth Pierce. She was born 1808, Parramatta, N. S. W., Australia, and died 1888 Granville, N. S. W., Australia.
James Whitney arrived in Sydney on the ship Tottenham in 1818.
