Waters8 Whitney (John7, John6, Nathan5, Thomas4, Eleazer3, Thomas2, John1), son of John7 and Lois (Amidon) Whitney, was born 22 Sep 1808, Readsboro, VT.

He married, Harriet -----. She was born about 1815, NY, and died after 1860.

Child of Waters8 and Harriet (-----) Whitney:

i. Mary W.9 Whitney, b. ca. 1835, NY; m. before 1857, J. P. Huls.

His birth record calls him Waters, the 1840 census Waturs, the 1850 census Walters, and the 1860 census Walter.
