Eliphalet⁶ Whitney (Joshua⁵, Joshua⁴, Richard³, Richard², John¹), son of Joshua⁵ and Marcy (Pierce) Whitney,^[1] was born 24 Feb 1764, Stow or Boxborough, MA,^[2] and died 1816, Putney, VT.

He "of Stow" married, 20 Mar 1783, Littleton, MA, Sarah Tenney "of Littleton".^[3] She was born 1765, Littleton, MA, and died 2 Jan 1843, Putney, VT.
