Calvin⁷ Whitney (Daniel Thayer⁶, James⁵, [prob.] James⁴, Eleazer³, Thomas², John¹), son of Daniel⁶ and Content (Stiles) Whitney, was born 19 Feb 1806, St. Johnsbury, VT, or Ludlow, VT,^[1] and died after 1880.

He married, 26 Nov 1832, Cavendish, VT, Roxana Wheelock. She was born 15 May 1812, Ludlow, VT,^[2] and died after 1880.

He was a farmer; resided Ludlow, VT.

iii.	Henry Augustus Whitney, b. 28 Aug 1836, Ludlow, VT;[6] m. Mary A. Brown.
iv.	Roswell Orrace Whitney, b. 29 Aug 1838, Ludlow, VT;[7] m. Phoebe Reynolds.
v.	Rancil Elmore Whitney, b. 21 Mar 1840, Ludlow, VT;[8] d. 27 Nov 1863.
vi.	Jane Ann Whitney, b. 27 Jul 1842, Ludlow, VT;[9] m. 14 Mar 1865, Ludlow, VT, James Pollard, son of James C. and Ameryllis (-----) Pollard,[10] b. 1 Oct 1836; resided Ludlow, VT. He is a farmer. Ch.: Minnie, b. Dec 1865; Nellie, b. 29 Nov 1866; Herbert, b. 1 May 1870; Walter, b. 1876; Lillian, b. 1874; Charles, b. 1878; Calvin, b. 1880; Marion, b. 1888.
