David8 Whitney (Jonathan Wood7, Abraham6, Abraham5, Abraham4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), son of Jonathan Wood7 and Abigail (Brooks) Whitney, was born 5 Apr 1827, Stow, MA,[1] and died after 1910, then of Omaha, NE. It was probably he who died 23 Sep 1912, and was buried in the Soldiers And Sailors Cemetery, Grand Island, NE.[2] If so, he was a soldier in Co. F, 15 U.S. Infantry, in the Mexican War.
He married, 31 Jul 1851, Neenah, WI, Eliza C. Marston. She was born 19 Sep 1833, Deerfield, NH, and died after 1910.
