He married, 14 Dec 1872, Peabody, KS, Arvilla Statira Fuller, daughter of Lafayette Titus and Olivia Ann (Kellogg) Fuller. She was born 3 Apr 1853, Carrollton, NY, and died 1926, probably NY.

He was a farmer and teacher. They settled at Creswell, KS, and were living there in May 1875.
