Zebulon5 Whitney (Abel4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Abel4 and Mary (Cane) Whitney, was born 27 Nov 1747, York, ME,[1] and died 11 Sep 1833, Gorham, ME.[2]
Marriage intentions were published 14 May 1774, Gorham, ME, for him and Joanna Stone "of Cape Elizabeth". He married, 10 Nov 1774, Gorham, ME, Joanna Stone. She was born circa 1755, and died 10 Dec 1824, probably Gorham, ME. She was also known as Hannah Stone.
Pierce says the following:[3]
- He served in the Revolutionary war in the Massachusetts state troops, and Apr. 4, 1835, was granted a pension while living in Cumberland Co., Me.
