Abel6 Whitney (Timothy5, Jonas4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), son of Timothy5 and Alice (Whitney) Whitney;[1] born 29 Sep 1752, Harvard, Massachusetts;[2] died 7 Aug 1807, Guilford, Vermont, in his 59th year.[3]

He married 1 Nov 1775, Petersham, Massachusetts, Elizabeth Spenny,[4] parentage unknown.[5] She was born about 1753;[6] died 15 Feb 1795, Guilford, Vermont, in her 42nd year.[7]

He resided Harvard, Massachusetts, and Guilford, Vermont.
