Case Whitney, parentage unknown, born circa 1744, died after 1790. He appears to have been a free black man who resided in Concord, MA.

Whiteney, "Case." Descriptive list of men raised in Worcester Co. to serve in the Continental Army, agreeable to resolve of Dec. 2, 1780, as returned by Seth Washburn, Superintendent for said county, June 12 [?], 1781; Capt. Kendall's co., Col. Whitney's regt.; age, 37 yrs.; stature, 5 ft. 5 in.; complexion, black; occupation, farmer; engaged for town of Lancaster; engaged March 5, 1781; term, 3 years."[1]
