Phinehas Sullivan7 Whitney (Phinehas6, William5, William4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Phinehas6 and Lydia (Bowes) Whitney,[1] was born 6 Jul 1785, MA[2] and died 3 May 1855[3] leaving 3 children.[4]

He married, 28 Sep 1806, Boston, Suffolk Co., MA, Lucy Davis.[5] Pierce calls her Lucy Cobb.[6] She died sometime shortly before 3 Mar 1821, Boston, Suffolk Co., MA.[7]

He married Julia Robinson.[8]

He married, before 1850,[9] Eliza Collard.[10] She was born circa 1805, VA.[11]

He was a coal dealer and resided in Philadelphia in 1850.[12]
