i. Clara Maria8 Whitney, born 4 Feb 1855; married 25 Mar 1879, Charles W. Spencer; resided Harvard, Massachusetts
Ch.: Carl Whitney, born Feb. 8. 1888; died 13 Jul 1890.
ii. Mary Lillie Whitney, born 15 Oct 1856; unmarried; a teacher in the Cookeman Institute at Jacksonville, Florida.
