Joel7 Whitney (Joel6, Jonas5, Jonas4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), born Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire, 29 Feb 1792; married in Ohio.
He served in the war of 1812, was captured by the British and taken to England; he finally returned and settled in Ohio, where he married and afterwards resided. He was a farmer. He died in Ohio.
