Isaac7 Whitney (David6, Nathan5, David4, Benjamin3, John2, John1), son of David6 and Elizabeth (Barron) Whitney, was born 14 Mar 1806, and died 4 Aug 1846, Newark, IL.

He married firstly, 9 Sep 1832, Susan Barrett. She was born 25 Sep 1808, and died 24 Mar 1842.

He "of Illinois" married secondly, 22 Sep 1842, Leominster, MA, Eliza Perkins.[1]

He resided Newark, IL.

Children of Isaac7 and Susan (Barrett) Whitney:

i. Lucius8 Whitney, b. 24 Feb 1836; m. Harriett J. Longhead.
ii. John Howard Whitney, b. 5 Jul 1840; unmarried; was corporal in Company F, 86 Illinois Volunteer Infantry, and was killed by gun shot 14 May 1864, Resaca, GA.

Children of Isaac7 and Eliza (Perkins) Whitney:

iii. Susan Barrett Whitney, born 4 Nov 1842; married 21 May 1868, in Morris, Illinois, James Webster Olson; resided Santa Rosa, California. He was born Aug. 18, 1839.
Ch.: Adda L., b. 18 Apr 1869, Linn County, KA; d. 28 May 1884, Onawa, KS; Edyth Whitney, b. 6 Apr 1872, Quenemo, Osage County, KS; Bertha Pauline Chamberlain, b. 15 Jul 1875, Ottawa, Franklin County, KS; Mary Webster Geraldine, b. 24 Apr 1881, Williamsburg, Franklin County, KS.
