She married 26 Mar 1839, Clermont, OH, George W. Campbell. He was born 1819, KY, and died 1850, Martinsville, Clark Co., IL.

G. W. Campbell is listed as having occupation "farmer dead" on the 1850 Census Clark County. Rachel may be the aunt of Oliver Perry Whitney, sister of his father James. His mother Ruth is listed with this family in 1850 when both husbands are believed to have unexpectedly died traveling west.
