Alonzo Asaph8 Whitney (Asaph S.7, Daniel6, James5, [prob.] James4, Eleazer3, Thomas2, John1), son of Asaph S.7 and Abigail (Miller) Whitney, was born 11 Nov 1834, Plymouth, VT, and died after 1880.

He married firstly, Sep 1858, Plymouth, VT, Sarah Parker. She was born 1838, and died 30 May 1862. Note: This marriage year is probably an error by Pierce for 1853.

HE married secondly, 25 May 1868, Emily Taylor Hadley. She was born 19 Oct 1834, and died after 1880.

He resided Plymouth, VT.
