Family:Whitney, Newton (1829-a1880)

Newton⁸ Whitney (Nathan⁷, Salmon⁶, Jonas⁵, Jonas⁴, Moses³, Richard², John¹), son of Nathan⁷ and Nancy (Farwell) Whitney; born Harvard, Massachusetts, 26 Jul 1820; married at Hampton Falls, New Hampshire, in 1848. Mary P. White, born 1829; died 9 Aug 1849; married second in 1868 Mary L. Hayward. He is a farmer; resided Chicopee, Massachusetts. P.O. Box 60.

Children of Newton⁸ and Mary P. (White) Whitney:

i.	Myron B.9 Whitney, born 11 Apr 1849; married at Saint Anthony Park, Minnesota, Sept. 4, 1887. Henrietta H. Gould, born 8 Oct 1858; res., s.p., at Saint Anthony Park. He is a carpenter and builder.

Children of Newton⁸ and Mary L. (Hayward) Whitney:

ii.	Charles N. Whitney, born 3 Jan 1869; resided Chicopee.
iii.	George Whitney, born 10 Apr 1875; resided Chicopee.
