He married, 5 Jul 1875, Jackson Co., MN, Eliza Montague.[1] She was born about 1853, WI, and died after 1880.
He resided Jackson and Spicer, MN, then Kansas City, KS.
He enlisted 31 Oct 1864, Fond du Lac, WI, as a private in the First Battery of Wisconsin Light Artillery, and was discharged 18 Jul 1865, Milwaukee, WI, due to expiration of service. He was pensioned, Cert. #764,321.
He was admitted to the United States Home for Disabled Veteran Soldiers at Leavenworth, KS, on 22 Nov 1907, and discharged 29 Dec 1909, on his own recognizance. Description: 5' 11", dark complexion, brown eyes, gray hair, literate, protestant, contractor, res. Kansas City, MO, married.
