Ephraim8 Whitney (Gustavus Fellows7, Ephraim6, Joel5, Abel4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Gustavus Fellows7 and Hannah (Libby)(Colson) Whitney, was born 7 Jul 1835, Jonesboro, ME, and died 15 May 1904, Jonesboro, ME.

He married 22 Mar 1857, Jonesboro, ME, Rebecca Drisko Leighton, daughter of John Coffin and Eunice Bickford (Wright) Leighton. She was born 9 Jun 1833, Addison, ME, and died 3 Sep 1921, Jonesboro, ME.

Ephraim and Rebecca are both buried in the Forest Hills Cemetery in Jonesboro, ME. He was a farmer.

Both are buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Portland, ME.
