He married firstly, 29 Oct 1856, Ashtabula Co., OH, Helen Laurinda Hubbell,[2] daughter of William and Eliza (Case) Hubbell. She was born 18 Apr 1838, OH, and died 18 Sep 1890, Sedalia, MO.[3]
He married secondly, 19 Sep 1893, Allen Co., OH, Helen Margaret (Trimmer) St. John,[4] daughter of Frances and Catherine (Smith) Trimmer. She was born Jul 1838, OH, and died 12 Oct 1918, Sedalia, MO.[5]
Children of Alfred Elmore and Helen Laurinda (Hubbell) Whitney:
