Ervin T. Whitney (Ammi Ruhamah, James, [poss.] Isaac4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Ammi Ruhamah and Hannah (Hall) Whitney, was born 10 Feb 1837, Falmouth, ME,[1], and died after 1910 and before 1920.

He married, 16 May 1861, Boston, MA, Zulima A. Jones, daughter of Samuel R. and Zoa (Warner) Jones.[2] She was born about 1837, Natick, MA, and died after 1920 and apparently before 1930.

In 1863 he was a butcher, and lived at 39 Wall Street, Boston, MA.

i. Ervin Benjamin Whitney, b. Apr 1862, Boston, MA; d. after 1930; m. 27 May 1896, Somerville, MA, Helen Josephine Sanborn.[3]
ii. Clara Noyes Whitney, b. 18 Dec 1863, Boston, MA;[4] d. after 1930, then unmarried.
iii. Florence L. Whitney, b. May 1877, MA, d. after 1930, then unmarried.
