1812, Sept. 5: Miss Ann Whitney married Capt. John Tilley on Aug. 27.
1815, April 1: Miss Frances Whitney married George Hutchins in Hamilton on March 18.
1816, Nov. 30: Capt. John Whitney died at Spanish Point on Nov. 16, leaving a widow and 4 children.
1819, Sept. 18: Miss Elizabeth Whitney married Capt. David Swan on Sept. 11 in Hamilton, by Rev. R. Hoare.
1820, Dec. 30: Seth H. Whitney died at Spanish Point on Dec. 28.
1824, March 20: Jeremiah Whitney died at Spanish Point.
1832, July 24: Capt. David Whitney married Ann Wood White, youngest daughter of William White, on July 19 in Pembroke.
1832, Aug. 21: Robert P. Whitney married Mrs. Frances Frith in Warwick on Aug. 18.
1834, July 29: Ann Whitney, only daughter of the late John Whitney married Capt. William Lightbourn in Pembroke on July 24.

1849, Aug. 21: David John Whitney, aged 10 months, son of David Whitney, died in Pembroke on Aug. 16.

1851, Jan. 14: Miss Ann White Whitney, only daughter of the late Robert P. Whitney, married James Moore, 3rd son of Samuel Moore, Barrack Department, Ireland Island, on Jan. 10 at St. Mary's Church, Warwick.
1851, March 18: David Whitney, birth of a daughter in Pembroke on March 11.
1851, June 24: Susannah Tynes Whitney, aged about 3 months, daughter of Capt. David Whitney, died in Pembroke on June 17.
1851, Nov. 11: Amelia Christiana Whitney, youngest daughter of the late Capt. Henry Whitney, married Benjamin W. Watlington in Devonshire on Nov. 6, by Rev. J.F. Lightbourn.
1853, Feb. 1: Honora Susan Whitney, eldest daughter of Capt. David Whitney, married Capt. Alfred George Newman of the brigantine Standard, in Pembroke Church on Jan. 25.
1854, July 18: Capt. David Whitney, in his 43rd year, died on June 29 in Grenada, leaving a widow and 7 children; he had been on a voyage in the trading schooner Margaret Musson, of which he was part-owner.

1855, Feb. 13: Susan Frances Whitney, aged 37, wife of Francis W. Whitney, died in Demerara on Jan. 11.
1857, Sept. 1: Agnes Isabella Whitney, aged 5, youngest daughter of the late Capt. David Whitney, died in Pembroke on Aug. 29.
1857, Dec. 22: Thomas Lea Smith Whitney, aged about 12, 3rd son of the late Capt. David Whitney, died in Pembroke on Dec. 20.
1858, June 8: Charlotte Gibbons Whitney, only daughter of James Whitney, of Saint John, New Brunswick, married W.O. Pe11 Smith, M.D., of New York, son of Hon. William B. Smith of Bermuda, on April 24 in New Brunswick.
1859, March 22: Mrs. Mary S. Whitney, in her 73rd year, widow of Capt. John Whitney, died in Pembroke on March 19.
1861, Dec. 10: Henry J. Whitney, aged 43, a native of Bermuda, died in Georgetown, Demerara, on Oct. 25.
1863, Sept. 8: Amelia Martha Whitney, widow of Capt. Henry Whitney, died in Devonshire on Sept. 4, leaving a son and 2 daughters.
1869, July 6: George Orrett Whitney married Mary Jane Jones, daughter of Capt. Thomas B. Jones, of Worcester, Maryland, on June 10 at Snow Hill, Maryland.
1871, March 14: George O. Whitney, birth of a daughter at Snow Hill, Worcester County, Maryland, on Jan. 23.
1872, Oct. 22: George O. Whitney, birth of a daughter on Oct. 20 in Southampton Parish.
1873, Jan. 21: Adelaide Susan Whitney, 3rd daughter of F.W. Whitney, late merchant of Demerara and now of New York, married James Smith Beate, son of the late John Beete, on Dec. 19, 1872, in Demerera
1873, June 10: Thomas V. Whitney, in his 63rd year, died on May 15 at "Antoinia," Connecticut.
1874, March 31: Francis William Whitney, 2nd son of F. W. Whitney, aged 19, died on March 19 at his residence, in Jersey City Heights. (N.Y. Herald, March 20)
1874, July 28: Henry P. Whitney married Mary E. Allen, daughter of C.M. Allen, U.S. Consul At Bermuda, on June 25 in Belmont, N.Y.
1874, Sept. 1: James Richard Whitney, 2nd son of Henry Walker Whitney of Turks Islands, married Elizabeth Frances Newbold, 3rd daughter of the late Benjamin Newbold, on Aug. 25 at St. Mary's Church, Warwick.
1874, Sept. 15: George O. Whitney, birth of a daughter on Sept. 5 in Southampton Parish.

1909, June 5: Mrs. Joanna Shoemaker, widow of Hon. G.O. Whitney, of Hamilton, Bermuda, married Asher Francis Black on April 27 at Mount Airy, Penn. Mr. Black was a former well-known merchant of Malden, Mass. The couple will go eventually to Mr. Black's summer home on Cliff Island, and next winter to Bermuda, where Mrs. Black has a beautiful home. (Malden Evening Mail, April 30)
1913, June 19: Miss Whitney, daughter of the late George O. Whitney of Eagle's Nest, Pembroke, is the widow of Charles H. Wood of Meridian, N.J., who died there on June 5. He was a young man, and had been a regular visitor to Bermuda for many years.
