Jesse⁷ Whitney (Joel⁶, Jonas⁵, Jonas⁴, Moses³, Richard², John¹), son of Joel⁶ and Lydia (Willard) Whitney, was born 8 Nov 1794, Fitzwilliam, NH, and died 4 Jul 1849, OH.

He married 12 May 1825, Butler Co., OH, Martha Flowers. She died before 5 Sep 1849, Hancock Co., OH.

With his brother Joel he went to Ohio, where he married and followed agricultural pursuits. He amassed quite a fortune. Resided in Ohio.
