Warren⁸ Whitney (John⁷, [poss.] John⁶, Nathan⁵, Thomas⁴, Eleazer³, Thomas², John¹), son of John⁷ and Lois (Amidon) Whitney, was born 20 Oct 1806, Readsboro, VT.

He married, first, say 1831, Lorinda Austin, daughter of Pardon and Ann (Owen) Austin. She was born about 1811, NY and died after 1860.

He married, second, before 1870, Mary -----. She was born about 1833, OH.

He was a shoemaker. They lived for a short while at Lysander, Onondaga Co., NY.
