The Main Line

Sir James Whitney believed that the Whitneys of Castleton (including our Thomas of Westminster) were cousins. How does their father Robert fit into his family? We need to look carefully at his relatives. Here is the relevant part of the pedigree of the Whitneys of Whitney:
