His alleged son Robert appears to be identical to Family:Whitney, Robert (s1491-1541), and his wife seems to be a confusion with Jennet Russell, wife of an older Eustace Whitney.

Eustace Whitney (Robert, Eustace, Robert, Robert, Robert, Eustace, Eustace, Robert, ...), son of Robert and Constance (Touchet) Whitney,[1] was born circa 1463, perhaps in or near Whitney, Herefordshire, England, and died 1541.

He married, circa 1485, Joan Trussell. She was born circa 1461, the daughter of William Trussell and Margery Ludlow.[2]

Children of Eustace and Joan (Trussell) Whitney:

i. Robert Whitney, b. ca. 1491, d. ca. 1541.[3]
