Benjamin5 Whitney (Benjamin4, John3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Benjamin4 and Mercy (Hinckley) Whitney was born circa 1755; b. circa 1769 and died at of Bowdoin, ME.

He was also known as Benjamin Whitney Jr. He "Settled in Bowdoin, Me." (Pierce "Whitney Genealogy", p. 62. He lived at Bowdoin, ME.


Mary Varnum was born circa 1774 at of Bowdoin, ME. She was also known as Polly Varnum.
