He married Eunice -----. She died after 1820.

Nathan Whitney, b. about 8 Nov 1789; d. 4 Nov 1846, Thompson Twp., Seneca Co., OH, aged 56 years 11 months 26 days; m. Esther -----. iv. William Whitney, b. 24 Jun 1791, VT; d. 25 Aug 1882, OH; m. 22 Dec 1814, NY, Jenny Whitmore. v. Eli Whitney, b. 24 Dec 1793; m. Nancy Whitmore.

- 1800, Hartford, Windsor Co., VT: Nathan Whitney, 1 male over 45, 1 female over 45, and 1 female 10-15. Presumably this was him, but it could be his father.
- 1810: not found.
- 1820, Lyme, Huron Co., OH: Nathan Whitney, 1 male over 45 and 1 female over 45; 1 engaged in agriculture, and 1 foreigner not naturalized.
