He died 24 Nov 1882; resided Shelburne, Vermont.

i. Julia A8 Whitney, born Feb 29, 1824; died Nov., 1843 ii. Charles K. Whitney, born 4 Jun 1828; married Hannah Hasselton and Chastina Hodge.
