Lewis⁷ Whitney (Simon⁶, Timothy⁵, Jonas⁴, Moses³, Richard², John¹), born June 12, 1803; married 17 Oct 1848, Pamelia V. Day, of Essex, Vermont born -----; died Rockford, Illinois. He died 14 Feb 1873; resided Petersham, Massachusetts.

i.	Lewis Herbert8 Whitney, born 23 Oct 1849; died 1 Aug 1853
ii.	Lewis Edgar Whitney, born Oct 22, 1854; married 18 Nov 1875, Florence P. Clough, of Bethel, Maine. He died in Petershan, Massachusetts, Mar. 10, 1879.
