Rollin W.9 Whitney (William Wilson8, Cyrus7, Lemuel6, Joshua5, Nathaniel4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), born Springfield, Vermont, 30 Mar 1848; married 26 Mar 1874, Ann E. Taylor, born 6 Oct 1844.
He had little time for work outside that required by his farm and the support of his seven children, and was a charter member of the Springfield Grange, and a member of the Vermont Dairyman's Ass., before which body he frequently reads a paper of interest to no one but members of the craft; resided Springfield, Vermont.
