Erastus Frank⁸ Whitney (Jasper⁷, Ami⁶, Jonathan⁵, Jonathan⁴, Jonathan³, Benjamin², John¹), born Thompson, Ohio, 31 Aug 1836; married Aug 8, 1860, Lucinda Hamburger, born Feb 22, 1840; died 26 Jun 1876; resided Bowling Green, Ohio.

Children of Erastus Frank⁸ Whitney:

i.	Rosa Etta9 Whitney, born 1863; married John G. Benkie. They had three ch. She died North Judson, Indiana, in 1891, leaving two ch. He married again and resided Koutz, Indiana.
ii.	Adelbert Ezra Whitney, born Sept 10, 1865, resided unmarried 205 Illinois St., Chicago, Illinois; clerk in post office.
iii.	Lester Elihu Whitney, born 7 May 1872; resided with Adelbert.
iv.	Willis Clark Whitney, born Dec 2, 1878; resided B.G.
