Marriage intentions were published 13 Jul 1776, Hopkinton, MA, for him "of Westborough" and Lois Carroll.[3] He married, 1 Aug 1776, Hopkinton, MA, Lois Carroll "of Hopkinton",[4] daughter of Benjamin and Mary (Knowlton) Carril. She was baptized 7 Jul 1751, Hopkinton, MA. She was also known as Lois Carryl.
He lived in 1776 at Henniker, NH.
Pierce says the following:[5]
- He served in the Revolutionary war in the Westboro company, commanded by Capt. WHEELOCK.
