Caleb7 Whitney (Jonathan6, Caleb5, Jonathan4, Richard3, Richard2, John1), son of Jonathan6 and Lucy (Wheeler) Whitney, was born 28 Dec 1800, Sterling, MA, and died after 1840.

He married, 7 Mar 1824, Sterling, MA, Abigail R. Sargent, "both of Sterling".[1] She was born between 1800 and 1810, and died after 1840.

Children of Caleb7 and Abigail R. (Sargent) Whitney:

i. Charlotte Evelina Whitney, b. 22 Apr 1824, Sterling, MA;[2] apparently d. before 1840.
ii. Abigail Roe Whitney, b. 11 Dec 1825, Sterling, MA;[3] apparently d. before 1840.
iii. (daughter) Whitney, b. ca. 1825-1830; deduced from 1830 census.
iv. (son) Whitney, b. ca. 1825-1830; deduced from 1830 census.
v. (daughter) Whitney, b. ca. 1830-1835; deduced from 1840 census.
vi. John H. Whitney, b. ca. 1838, Sterling, MA; m. 25 Feb 1869, Orange, MA, Jennie N. Derby, daughter of Josiah and Betsey (-----) Derby, b. ca. 1849, Ashburnham, MA.[4]

  • 1840, Sterling, Worcester Co., MA: Caleb Whitney, 1 male 30-39, 1 male 0-4, 1 female 30-39, and 1 female 5-9.
