Charles C.⁹ Whitney (Charles P.⁸, Gustavus Fellows⁷, Ephraim⁶, Joel⁵, Abel⁴, Nathaniel³, Benjamin², John¹), son of Charles P.⁸ and Emma Jane (Bryant) Whitney), was born Sep 1869, Jonesboro, ME, and died 1961.

He married firstly, 26 Sep 1893, Jonesboro, ME, Julia M. Foss, daughter of Benjamin Francis and Hannah W. (Feeney) Foss. She was born Jan 1870, and died 1925.

He married secondly, 22 Mar 1930, ME, Elizabeth "Lizzie" J. (-----) Garnett as her second husband.

Charles and family resided in Roque Bluff, ME. He was a farmer. Charles and Julia are buried in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Jonesboro, ME.
