Rev. George7 Whitney (Simon6, Timothy5, Jonas4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), son of Simon6 and Lucy (Hammond) Whitney, was born 12 Feb 1800, Petersham, MA,[1] and died 24 Nov 1882, Shelburne, VT.

He married firstly, 24 Mar 1823, Lucy Kellogg. She was born Oct 1798, and died 10 Sep 1851.

He married secondly, 12 Mar 1852, Mrs. Emeline Tyler. She was born 1800, Essex, VT.

He married thirdly, Mrs. Caroline Walton.

He resided Shelburne, VT.

i. Julia A.8 Whitney, b. 29 Feb 1824; d. Nov 1843.
ii. Charles K. Whitney, b. 4 Jun 1828; m.(1) Hannah Hasselton; m.(2) Chastina Hodge.
