Jump to navigationJump to searchEben Jennings7 Whitney (Thomas6, Peter5, Josiah4, Josiah3, [prob.] Benjamin2, John1), son of Thomas6 and Mary Taina (Jennings) Whitney; born Barnstead, Vermont, 6 Dec 1806; married at Norwich, Vermont, 25 Nov 1830, Sarah Boardman, dau. of Dr. Nathaniel and Philomela; born 15 Jul 1806; died 4 Dec 1876. He was a farmer and mechanic; resided at West Hartford, Vermont, until 1837, when they removed to Brown, Knox County, Ohio, and later to Danube; resided Danube, Ohio.

i. Dudley Chase8 Whitney, born 16 Aug 1846; resided Danube, Ohio. ii. Edward Eli Whitney, born 5 Nov 1832; married Lettia Jane Parrish. iii. Charlotte Virginia Whitney, born 4 Aug 1835; dead. iv. Victoria Philomela Whitney, born 29 Nov 1839; married 9 Feb 1860, in Mount Vernon, Ohio, John Robinson; born 24 Dec 1836. He was a farmer; Resided Danville, Ohio, died 11 Aug 1870. v. Girdon B. Whitney, 29 Nov 1839; married Ann Ilgenfreiz. vi. Lucia Emily Whitney, born 8 Jun 1842. vii. Martha Lucilla Whitney, born 21 Nov 1848. viii. Florence Helera Whitney, born 19 Apr 1851.
