Patty⁵ Whitney (Josiah⁴, David³, Joshua², John¹), daughter of Josiah⁴ and Lois (Breck) Whitney,^[1]; born 2 Dec 1779, Pomfret, CT;^[2] died unknown.

She married about 1803, Plainfield, CT, Darius H. Cary, son of Joseph and Zerviah (Hutchins) Cary. He was born 24 Mar 1777, Plainfield, CT, and died 8 Feb 1863, Richfield, NY.

ix.	Laura Cary, b. 1820, d. 12 Aug 1867, Richfield, NY.
