Oscar J.⁸ Whitney (Henry H.⁷, Jonas⁶, Jonathan⁵, Jonathan⁴, Jonathan³, Benjamin², John¹), son of Henry H.⁷ and Sarah A. (Hill) Whitney, was born 1839, and died 1923.

He married Eliza Bannister. She was born 1842, and died 1912. Both are buried in Resthaven Cemetery, Phelps, NY.
