William Alonzo8 Whitney (William Greenlaw7, Enoch6, Moses5, Nathaniel4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of William Greenlaw7 and Agnes (Smith) Whitney, was born 29 Oct 1835, Lee, ME,[1] and died 17 Oct 1911, Winn, ME.

He married, 4 Jul 1858, Lee, ME, Emma J. Twombly, daughter of John and Hannah (Knight) Twombly. She was born 16 Feb 1842,[2] No. 3 Township south of Lee, ME, and died 25 Jan 1932.

He resided Winn, ME.
