I am stuck in the mid-west, our DNA is traceable to the first John, it just all the stuff in the middle that is missing. I am from Tacoma Washington , my grandfather came here from Oklahoma, he was born in Waukegan IL. I found him with his father (Willard) in the 1880 census in Kansas, his father's father I have as an Eli Whitney born in Vt and died in Lake Co. IL , I have Eli as having a son (Willard) and a daugther (Olive) and married to a Nancy Whitmore, from there I am stuck, any help would be greatly appreciated.
